Susan okay after car accident

Hi everyone,

Susan was driving home from work last Friday evening, when she was rear-ended while waiting to turn off the main road in town. Luckily she is okay....some back stiffness. She will begin Physical Therapy next week to get realigned/adjusted.
Sadly, for the 1992 'Pimp Mobile' - a simple realignment will not be enough. It was totaled!
The Pimp Mobile (named such by 4 Semi pro English Soccer players - who stayed with us) gave us lots of good years. Many friends (from all over the world) have enjoyed it special character - it will be missed.

Furniture

Dave & I continue to work toward turning part of our basement into living space. Once the electrician finishes up this weekend, the next step will be maximizing the little storage this house has so we can free up the living space. We have Aunt Nelda & Uncle Matt's dining room set and the matching twin beds that my Dad & Aunt Mary used when they were young. I love them, but will never have room for them in this house. (No dining room and with the slanted ceilings in the bedrooms they headboards are too tall.) If anyone is interested in them, or willing to store them until someone else needs/wants them it would be great.

Beantown fans aplenty in Boulder

Kate made the Boulder, CO paper today. She was hunkered down with some Sox faithful in a sports bar when she got interviewed. The story starts out: "Red Sox Nation is big and vast, its tentacles reaching into the corners of every state and seemingly every city across the fruited plain."

"I am a Sox fan, wholeheartedly," said Kate Robinson, as she sat glued to one of a half-dozen televisions showing Game 7 of the Indians-Red Sox standoff at the Lazy Dog Sports Bar & Grill on Pearl Street. With the Red Sox holding a slim 3-2 lead in the sixth inning, she was making no assumptions about how the night would go. "I'm sort of sitting on the edge of my seat," said Robinson, a traveling photographer who happens to be in Colorado for the next two weeks.

Kate says it was only a partial quote. She also said:

"I hope they win. I'm being Manny for Halloween. They've done it before. They'll do it again."

Susan and DJ update

Hi All,

Here are a few pix from the Livermore Family.

1. You know your life is evolving when your kids drive off to High School together.

Each year we all take pix of the first day of school.....well ... did it this year FOR THE LAST time!

2. Susan dressed up as Elizabeth Bennett (from Pride and Prejiduce) for one of the theme days of Spirit Week. She designed the dress to replicate one worn in the movie.

3. Johnny and Remus working hard.

Pictures from the Flaherty-Pomarole cookout 8/07

Hi Everyone,
Finally got a new computer, and the time download some photos.
We had a great day... thought you would enjoy!

West Coast cuties

Richard and I just got back from visiting our West Coast cuties! Ani is 4 1/2, and Madeline turned 1 the end of August. Both kids talk a blue streak. We just don't know what Maddie is saying yet.

As you can tell from the difference in the kids' garb, we experienced a wide variation of weather between Whidbey Island and San Diego.

Oh yeah - and the Sox clinched an ALCS spot while we were out on Whidbey. Fun fun!

Fryberg Fair

After a year of asking, it was finally time for Katie to ride the ferris wheel at the Fryberg Fair, and she refused to go on it with anyone other than Auntie Dee Dee. Luckily Dee is crazy enough to fly across the country for a day at the fair with the DiPalma girls! (and fried dough). We had a blast!
