Susan's News
Hi Everyone!
A few weeks ago Ellen read about a contest sponsored by the Boston Globe, and she forwarded the information to Susan. You were required to write an essay on the 'back story' of a literary character. Susan chose "Ursula" - the sea witch from The Little Mermaid. Friday evening she received notification that she had WON! Her essay will be published in the Sidekick section of The Globe.. and she receives 2 tickets to Wicked! THANK YOU ELLEN!

Kids on the move
I guess its that time of year. For quite a while, September has marked a time when the kids are on the move. For years it meant back to school. This year September marks Kate's move out west to Oregon. She's out there somewhere on I-70. Communication has been sparse, but I got a pix message she snapped from her phone today documenting a long time dream of hers - to drive across the state of Kansas when the sunflowers are in bloom.
Go Kate!!
