Katie's 8th Birthday

The kids gathering around the gift-opening. Katie is over-the-moon in love with all of her presents, but her favorite is a work-in-progress by our favorite artist. Jackie is painting Katie as a fairy. It is beautiful, and Katie can't stop looking at it.

Katie's birthday was also a chance for everyone to say goodbye-for-now to Ifurs. (Hard for some to accept - there was an attempted dog-napping at the end of the party.) Saturday he will be mini-vanning to Georgetown. Jasmine, the DiPas and the Merms will help him settle into his new home. (Yes, Jasmine is taking the road trip too. Yes, we are a bit crazy.)

Wow - this family has a lot of kids! Starting a the birthday girl and working clockwise: Katie, Markie, Rebecca, Caroline, Tony, AJ (Anthony), Liam, Vince and Celia.
