Grammy's Birthday Weekend

Mom brought up "Memory Boxes" containing LOTS of blasts from the past - including my favorite dress of all time. Looks like Katie felt as pretty in it as I used to.

Anni and Vince checking on the "Pork Explosion." What is a "pork explosion?" Well you weave thick cut bacon into a mat. Season it. Wrap it around a log of sausage that has been filled with cooked bacon and bbq sauce, slow cook it slathered with more BBQ sauce then ENJOY!

Grammy's birthday feast. Yea, after eating the explosion on Friday, we still wanted sausage on Saturday. All that time in the snow makes you hungry!
